AFCR President Elected as President of the Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association-USA

201006cba1.jpgDr. Sujuan Ba, Ph.D., President & CEO of the Asian Fund for Cancer Research (AFCR), was elected as President (2010-2011) of the Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association-USA (CBA) on June 12, 2010. Dr. Ba founded AFCR in 2006 and has held the position of President & CEO since that time.

Dr. Ba oversees AFCR's strategic operations, fundraising efforts, partnership development. Since the founding of AFCR, Dr. Ba recognized that a cure for cancer could only be achieved through collaboration, and organized the establishment of a powerful international network. This network focuses on clearly identifiable and critical aspects of cancer research, uniting scientists from a broad array of backgrounds and allowing them more freedom to explore innovative ideas.

The Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association-USA is one of the largest Chinese American professional associations in the United States. Founded in 1995, CBA is an independent, non-political, not for-profit professional organization dedicated to promoting science, technology, and business development in the biopharmaceutical fields by fostering research and business collaborations around the world.
