In 2006, AFCR became a proud member of the Consortium for Globalization of Chinese Medicine (CGCM), a Hong Kong-based non-profit international organization that promotes the modernization of TCM. AFCR’s President, Dr. Sujuan Ba, met with CGCM’s Secretary General, Dr. George Lau, in November, 2006, to present AFCR’s support of the globalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Cancer research programs focus on the modernization of TCM by conducting thorough preclinical studies, utilizing highly standardized research materials and protocles, and performing rigorously monitored clinical trials according to the internationally recognized standard, the Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP).
